Us Aussies do things differently to many places in the world.
One of those things is University. I hear our degrees are quite good and valued around the world, yet our experience of how we get them is very different. Apart from the odd regional town, we don’t have university towns, and most people stay at home while they study.
I already knew all of this, but after reading another view on the issue, it made me consider how our culture builds community, especially those around my age in Sydney.
I have noticed that many Aussies have very small social circles, linked to the guysthey went to high school with and play sport with.
Therefore should high schools and sport be stragetic places for us to do ministry around?
