Newtown Eats #1 – Giraffe Wrap Bar

Thought I would give some shout outs to places I like eating at in Newtown.

First place is a new shop on the scene: Giraffe Wrap Bar.img_0030

This place is awesome!!

The Food: Fresh cooked wraps, including the wrap dough too!! A typical wrap includes, the meat with onions cooked with it (or roasted veggies for you vego’s out there), guacamole, pickles, assorted lettuce and tomato.

The Usual: Lamb with chilli mayo.

Pros: Other good thing is free wifi, so when I have used all my allowance at college, this place is handy for fast internet. There is also a 10% student and medical staff discount.

Cons: Admittedly it is on the slightly expensive side $8-$10 for a wrap but if you want a drink (fresh home-made lemonade) go for the meal and get hand cut potato chips too, which are very tasty.

Location: It is on the southern side of King st and about 6 shops towards the city from the Missenden Rd intersection.

Enjoy!
